Hostel Management System

The Hostel Management System in PHP is a web-based application designed to efficiently manage student and hostel details. Developed using PHP and MySQL, this project provides a comprehensive solution for hostel administrators to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Project Features

The Hostel Management System project developed using Apache server and MySQL 5.62 is divided into two modules to efficiently manage hostel operations. Here’s a detailed overview:

• Admin module
• User module

Admin Module

1. Admin Login

Admin Login via Login Form.

2. Admin Profile

Admin Profile Management and Password Change

3. Courses

Admin can create add course, edit courses and also delete the course

4. Rooms

Admin can create rooms and allots seater to particular rooms and assign the fees.

5. Registration

Administrators have the authority to generate student profiles and assign rooms.

6. Manage the Registration

Administrators have the capability to manage all student profiles, including printing out a complete list of profiles and deleting individual profiles as needed.

7. Complaints

Administrators are tasked with managing all student complaints and implementing the necessary actions to address them appropriately.

8. Feedback

Administrators have the ability to access and review feedback provided by students regarding the hostel facilities.

9. Forgot Password

Administrators also have the option to retrieve their password in case it is forgotten.

User Module

1. User Registration- Users have the option to register through a user registration form.
2. User Login– Users have the ability to access their accounts via a login form.
3. Forgot Password— Users can reset their passwords using the ‘forgot password’ link.
4. User Profile— Users can oversee and update their own profiles.
5. Book Hostel – Users have the capability to reserve hostel accommodations.
6. Room Details- Details of the booked rooms are available.
7. Complaint Registration- Students have the ability to submit complaints.
8. Registered Complaint- Students can review their registered complaints along with their current status.
9. Feedback- Students have the opportunity to provide feedback regarding the hostel.
10. Change Password- Users have the option to change their own passwords.
11. User access log- Users can view their last login details.
